STORY

Eight-year-old Bonnie is growing up fast, and her interests are beginning to shift. Hoping to help her socialize and connect with peers, her parents gift her a frog-themed smart tablet named Lilypad (“Lily”). Soon, Bonnie becomes completely absorbed in her new device, spending less and less time with her traditional toys.

With Jessie now leading the room as Bonnie’s favorite, the toys realize that Lilypad has entirely different, automated ideas about what is “best” for keeping Bonnie entertained. As the tech toy starts running the show, traditional playtime is pushed to the absolute brink.

Meanwhile, Woody—who has been off on independent missions—makes a surprise return when he learns his old friends are in trouble. Teaming up once more with Buzz Lightyear, the gang must navigate a high-tech obstacle course of gadgets and screens to remind Bonnie (and themselves) what true companionship really means.
