A story about Lisa joining the newly co-ed Boy Explorers and competing against Bart is interrupted by two Pseudo-Nonymous hackers who hold the program for ransom while revealing various “show-destroying” scenes that were never meant for broadcast, featuring the Simpson family, Lenny, Martin, Comic Book Guy, Seymour and Agnes Skinner, Superintendent Chalmers, and numerous others.

Kang and Kodos read a book of three terrifying tales in a wizard’s hovel:
- “The Pookadook”: In this parody of The Babadook, Marge reads Maggie a storybook about a monster that feeds on people’s rage and is released by the very act of reading the book itself.
- “Death Tome”: In this parody of Death Note, Lisa comes across a tome that will kill anybody whose name is written in it, but only if the manner of death is different each time as she is aided by a Shinigami named Steve Johnson.
- “Simpsonsworld”: In this parody of Westworld, robot versions of the Simpson family become self-aware to discover themselves in an advanced amusement park known as Simpsonsworld.

“From Beer to Paternity”
Duff Beer holds a new mascot contest, so Duffman fights to remain relevant and prove that he isn’t sexist by using a photo of Lisa with him from an old promotional event and claiming she’s his daughter. When Homer and Lisa confront Duffman, he reveals he really does have an estranged daughter named Amber. As Duffman notices how smart Lisa has become, he views Homer as the ultimate father and enlists his help to reconnect with Amber and win the competition.

Bart discovers a glitch in the online multiplayer game Boblox (parody of Roblox) that allows him to duplicate items on old computers, so he uses the outdated PCs at school to start a Boblox farm racket. When Principal Skinner finds out, Bart convinces him to join in with promises that they can use the profits to benefit Springfield Elementary. Meanwhile, Marge discovers that she can communicate with Maggie in Boblox via emojis allowing her baby daughter to finally “talk” with her.

“Top Goon”
While coaching Bart’s ice hockey team, Moe feels that Nelson Muntz could be the enforcer he needs to protect top-scorer Bart from violent opponents. Moe takes Nelson under his wing and sends him to Top Goon Academy where he learns how to harness his aggression to protect his primary which leads to him getting involved with Fat Tony’s crime family.

Homer and Marge become enraged at Bart for defacing the books at school only to discover that others are thanking him for getting the younger children interested in reading by making it fun. Wishing they could see Bart through the eyes of people that aren’t his parents, Homer and Marge dream of a world where Bart isn’t their son, yet still comes into their lives as Homer and Marge have different occupations.

Homer learns that Barney’s Bowlarama is being turned into a trendy hangout by Terrence, so he asks the hipster to give him a week to prove that bowling is still popular. After Homer convinces a reluctant Marge to bowl, her impressive performance sees Terrence offering to keep the Bowlarama alive if she beats an opponent of his choice. Homer hires a coach to help Marge and unwittingly chooses suave Frenchman Jacques, unaware of their prior history together.

Marge and Lisa agree to create a charitable organization together to help the local homeless people. “The Very Hungry Caterpillars”
Springfield’s in lockdown mode when a caterpillar infestation hits the town. Initially, the Simpsons plan to spend their quarantine using a streaming service. After Homer accidentally signs out of the app, each of the family members go off on their own at-home adventure. Homer and Marge have to hijack ranch dressing into their home from Flanders when it’s the only thing Maggie will eat, Bart works with his friends through online video to help Principal Skinner retrieve his childhood quilt from his cousin Peter, and Lisa imagines herself shrinking down in size so she can enter the dollhouse given to her as an early Christmas present.

“Clown V. Board of Education”
When Krusty learns that clowning is a dying profession, he opens a clown school for children. Bart joins and finally discovers a love for going to school. When a lot of other kids follow in his footsteps, Krusty soon discovers his new school is not only more successful than he imagined, but more personally rewarding too. Unfortunately, his success sees Fat Tony and the mob wanting a piece of the action.

“Homer’s Adventures Through the Windshield Glass”
After discovering Marge has been hiding something from him, Homer becomes so incensed that he crashes his car into a fire hydrant. Time seems to slow as Homer finds himself flying through the car’s windshield, where a projection of his psyche in the form of Maggie’s Happy Little Elf doll Goobie Woo helps him reflect on his relationship with Marge.
