Episodes 01

“Touch-and-Go”

An elderly Asian man is experimented on before a bright light envelops the entire lab. Two years after Angelina abducts Eden, a disheveled Ben puts up posters to find her. Michaela has a calling showing her a container ship along with sakura petals. She follows it to the docks and finds the unconscious Asian man. He is passenger Henry Kim, supposedly dead. Ben is still searching for Eden, although evidence suggests that she is dead. Henry reveals that he brought a box for Cal with him from China. The group retrieves it from the container. It is the 828 black box. Meanwhile, Zeke is working as a psychiatrist able to absorb the emotions and pain of others by touching them. Ben relives his past in which Cal is surprised to learn he has grown, aged by over 5 years. Cal reunites with his family, but Olive blames him for their mother’s death. Cal is visited by Saanvi, but has no memory after he vanished when he touched 828’s tail fin. Jared arrives with a death certificate for Eden. Ben still refuses to give up, and has a calling in which he encounters 828 passenger Anna Ross. Together, they find and rescue a father and son. After returning home, Anna is revealed to be hiding Angelina and Eden.

Episodes 02

“All-Call”

In a flashback, Ben and the others attend Grace’s funeral. In the present day, Kim recovers and tells of being experimented on for over two years. Only he is able to hear multiple layers of voices in the recording, when others only hear static. A fleeing Angelina dyes and cuts her and Eden’s hair to hide their identities. She seeks refuge with a woman who then locks her in a room. At a new police division office, called “the registry,” passengers from 828 have to regularly check in. Adrian gets a calling of the house Angelina is trapped in. He finds them and reluctantly helps them escape. Still appalled by Angelina’s actions, Adrian nonetheless agrees to shelter her and Eden at his compound. Saanvi visits Ben and tells him of the Black Box. He shows no interest—having lost all faith in the callings. Ben tracks down a lead and is led back to Anna Ross’s house. Anna confesses that she had sheltered Angelina and Eden, convinced by Angelina that Ben was evil, but knows now she’d been lied to. While there, Ben sees Eden’s drawings and realizes they shared a calling. Meanwhile, Saanvi, listening to the tape, manages to modulate the frequency and is able to hear all the callings that Ben, Michaela, Cal, Saanvi, and Zeke have ever had.

Episodes 03

“High Flight”

At Adrian’s compound, Eden experiences a Calling, which is then discovered to be shared with Ben. Angelina tests her connection with Eden by trying to draw the same picture and fails. Reinvigorated by the knowledge that his daughter is alive, Ben is helped by Jared and Drea in following Angelina’s tracks. Once home, he is able to see in real time Eden’s drawings which Olive deciphers as the Treasure Hunt nursery rhyme she taught her. Michaela and Cal have a Calling of thunder and lightning. Michaela discovers that the thunder Calling is shared by Amuta, the 828 co-pilot. Initially reluctant to follow it, he admits to knowing what happened during the six seconds in which all Callings were recorded in the black box: a “long, delirious, burning blue” that the plane went through and left a sense of peace that only he, Captain Daly, and Cal could see and feel. Hearing this, Cal – now marked with the same dragon scar as Henry Kim – finally remembers being back on the plane with Captain Daly and Fiona right after he touched the tailfin and disappeared, and sheds light on Daly’s reappearance when he tries to stop Cal from going back. Concerned with the well-being of the other resident passengers, Adrian asks Eagan for advice and reveals Angelina and Eden’s whereabouts. Relentlessly bullied in prison, Eagan sees an opportunity to make a deal with Ben.

Episodes 04

“Go-Around”

On Evie’s death anniversary, Michaela jogs at the cemetery where Evie’s grave is. It was also revealed that Beverly has recently passed away. She has a Calling involving fog and a Thunderbird that takes her to the Shinnecock Reservation and a fellow 828er named Kyle Boyd. With Zeke and Drea’s help, they reach Kyle’s mom in a New York hospital and take her back to the Hopi Reservation for her final days, freeing Kyle from his guilt. He leaves a quilt as a gift for Michaela. The star embroidered on it turns out to be the last clue for Cal and Olive to finally understand where Cal and the whole Flight 828 was for 5 and a half years – inside the “divine consciousness”. In the meantime, Vance uses all leverage he has left to help Ben free Eagan and obtain the location of Eden’s whereabouts: Adrian’s compound. However, Ben has an ominous Calling about this. After sending Vance and his right hand Powell on a false track to protect them, Ben reaches the compound and is knocked out. Meanwhile, Jared and Drea connect a suspicious purchase of fertilizer rich in ammonia, potentially used in bomb-making, to Erika, one of the residents of the compound.

Episodes 05

“Squawk”

Michaela and Eden share a Calling of a bee which takes Eden to the room of the compound where Ben is being locked and bound with duct tape, but Angelina takes her away and tells her to not trust anyone. Erika shows Angelina one of the bombs she has created with the fertilizer and disseminated in each room, ready to go off in case of a police raid. Jared and Michaela separately figure out that Ben is kept prisoner at the compound, and they go there with Zeke. Jared enters the greenhouse and discovers one of the bombs, then informs the others. Ben manages to seed doubt in Donovan, one of the residents, who then confronts Adrian about the kidnapping of Ben and the harboring of Angelina. Adrian says he will get rid of Angelina, who – troubled by painful memories and a Calling of falling ashes – overhears the quarrel and decides to come out to the other residents and menaces to detonate the bombs as “trial by fire” for all of them. At Vance’s research facility, Saanvi and Troy experiment on UL Frequencies. When joined by Cal and Olive, they put Cal in the fMRI while he has a calling of Ben and Eden in trouble, finding that Callings are memories of the time spent in the “divine consciousness”, after which he runs off with Vance and Powell to Ben’s rescue. Donovan tries to free Ben, but is knocked out by Erika. Guided by his Calling, Cal enters the house and confronts Angelina alone, paving the way for the others to rescue the residents, then shooing Ben and Eden away from danger. Angelina triggers the bombs and the compound explodes. Cal is miraculously alive and reconciles with Ben. Zeke, whose empathy powers are out of control because of his worries, perceives Erika’s rage and shoots her with Jared’s gun to save Michaela. At home, Cal coughs blood. Still tormented by the ash Calling, Adrian drives away after rescuing a wounded Angelina on the road.

Episodes 06

“Relative Bearing”

In the aftermath of the compound explosion, the Stones, Zeke, and Jared try to adjust to the latest events. Angelina finds refuge at her mother Noelle’s house. A Calling takes Michaela to the murder scene of a passenger. Ben struggles to undo Angelina’s damage and connect to Eden where he asks for Anna’s help. Eagan is released from prison and is assaulted by Adrian. Then he blackmails Noelle and in the end goes to the police anyway. Zeke is overwhelmed during a session and hits a patient after absorbing his anger. Jared and Drea find that an 828 Registry police captain Ted Colvin is involved in the murder and they arrest him. However, Colvin was only being bribed while the real murderer is still on the loose and assaults Anna at her house. Angelina calls the Stones several times to speak to Eden. Ben hangs up on her, but Cal lets her through. Vance and Powell prepare a fake Ballistic report and get Jared out of trouble. Olive thinks Sapphire is the key to limitless Callings that can help getting the Lifeboat back on track, and she calls TJ in Egypt. Eden gets the volcano Calling. After a discussion with Ben, Cal leaves the house, but collapses soon after where he is found by a drunk Zeke.

Episodes 07

“Romeo”

Jared and Michaela investigate Sam and Anna’s murders and discover that both had temporarily sheltered Angelina and Eden. Cal consults Saanvi’s ex-lover Alex and she determines that his cancer has returned. She persuades Zeke to resume attendance at AA meetings. Eden has a Calling that takes Ben and Saanvi to a nursing home where they find nine passengers who had been dumped there and declared brain-dead after torture by the late Major Fitz. They still have brain activity and Saanvi persuades an orderly to let her see their medical records. She has a Calling and hypothesizes that the Major’s experiments made them into living antennae to the Divine Consciousness. Cal (“Gabriel”) goes on a date with fellow passenger Violet and reveals his true identity to her. Violet confesses that she helped Angelina in the past. Michaela and Jared meet a hostile Noelle, but further clues point away from Angelina. Later, they are informed of a third murder. Eden finally warms to Ben, who can now help Michaela with her latest Calling, which is not a bloody X but a cross implicating Noelle. Jared warns that Violet has been murdered and the Registry believe “Gabriel” is now the prime suspect.

Episodes 08

“Full Upright and Locked Position”

Cal is arrested by the arriving 828 Registry officers as a suspect serial killer. Michaela thinks Noelle is going to target Adrian next, while Eagan has a Calling about him. Michaela and Eagan meet at the hotel where Eagan and Adrian were staying. Upon finding that Adrian has been abducted, they agree to join forces. Noelle, who has been moving Angelina from a safe house to another location, takes her to the warehouse where Adrian is being held prisoner. She anesthetizes and binds Angelina so that she can witness Adrian’s death. Michaela and Jared look into all possible places. Saanvi, with support from Dr. Gupta, investigates how to produce Callings using specific types of sapphire and tries to enhance Eagan’s Calling to pinpoint Adrian’s location, but her attempt is unsuccessful. Eagan deciphers one of Marko’s drawings, but keeps it to himself. Olive thinks they need Omega Sapphire from a specific quarry, corresponding to Mount Ararat, location of Noah’s Ark. After meeting Colvin’s successor Captain Fahey, Ben visits Radd again and they follow a musical Calling that leads them to Alex confirming that Cal’s cancer has returned. Radd uses it as the reason to release him out of custody. Adrian and Angelina cooperate to escape the warehouse. Once freed of her bindings, she leaves Adrian to die. Vance, Jared, and Michaela save Adrian from being drowned by Noelle at the last minute, but Drea tells them Noelle is not the serial killer or not the only one. Meanwhile at Ben’s house, Zeke perceives the other killer – Angelina’s dad Kenneth who wants to kill Eden to show Angelina that she is not her guardian angel. Zeke is wounded while fighting Kenneth and gives a chance to Olive to throw him out the second floor window in self-defense and save them. As Noelle is booked for attempted murder, Jared is offered by Captain Fahey to move to the 828 Registry as a detective. Olive receives an unexpected visit by TJ who hints that the Omega Sapphire might be found in New York. Eagan goes to the location of Marko’s drawing where he thinks the sapphire is: the Masonic Temple of the Omega Order.

Episodes 09

“Rendezvous”

Alex and Saanvi tell Cal that he is terminal. He and Ben decide to keep it between them as Zeke and Michaela celebrate their wedding anniversary that evening. Jared ruminates about joining the 828 Registry office. Eagan sneakily explores the Temple, but is seen chipping out tiles from several walls by a fellow volunteer named Kenroy. The Stones and their friends enjoy a joyful evening until Michaela, Saanvi, Cal and Ben have a Calling of the 828 plane in turbulence involving Jared, Zeke, Olive, the stowaway passenger Thomas, and the unresponsive Marko. Saanvi and Michaela are led by a Calling to the boiler room where Thomas used to hide. Through an adjacent wall comes Eagan and Kenroy who is really Thomas’ former lover Leo. Olive and TJ link Eagan’s tiles and the ones revealed behind a different wall in the room to Al-Zuras tarot cards. Meanwhile, Marko is brought by Jared and Zeke to Cal’s presence and draws a volcano, previously seen in other Callings and in the “World” tarot card. Michaela ignites a fire grate and the wall crumbles, revealing a bas-relief of the goddess Maat and the sapphire at its centre. Eagan takes the Omega Sapphire and triggers a collapse of the room then runs off, leaving Michaela, Saanvi, and Leo trapped in the debris. Drawn in by a Calling, Thomas saves them and reunites with Leo. Zeke gets an empathic high on morphine from Cal, who reveals his condition to Olive and the others. Before Jared takes Marko back to the assisted living facility, Eden puts her volcano snowball on his lap, which later explodes as part of a Calling that foretells the end of the world. Eagan is assaulted in his hotel room and the Omega Sapphire taken away by a mysterious figure.

Episodes 10

“Inversion Illusion”

Ben has a vision of Grace who asks him to take Eden to her grave. At the hospital, Eagan tells Michaela and Jared that Angelina has the Omega Sapphire. At the cemetery, Ben finds out it is a ruse by Angelina and takes Eden away. Angelina’s rage, amplified by the sapphire, affects all 828 passengers. With Olive’s help, Michaela and Ben find Angelina keeping people hostage in the church at her old school where the Omega Sapphire has manifested lava. Cal’s dragon scar allows him to create a Calling of the plane and fight Angelina. During the fight, the Omega Sapphire is shattered. The US government initiates an emergency order to detain all 828 passengers until further notice and a Registry team led by Dr. Gupta breaks into Vance’s lab. Zeke sacrifices himself to save Cal. A delirious Angelina manages to escape the school with a piece of Omega Sapphire stuck in her lava-burned hand as lava crevices start to appear.

Episodes 11

“Final Descent”

8 months have passed since the lava crevices started to appear. 700 deaths have been caused by it. In Rockwell, Anson sees the news report. When an explosion happens, he calls 911 only to be shot by a group of people. At an 828 detention center, Ben is visited by Olive and Eden while Michaela has a vision of Zeke and Saanvi does research on the 828 passengers. Bethany has a calling causing her to frantically try to get out only to be sedated. Vance secretly helps Michaela and Ben escape so that they can solve it. Arriving at Georgia’s house, Jared and Drea find Officer Wicks and another Registry officer searching it. When word of Ben and Michaela’s breakout is known, Officer Wicks lingers with Jared and Drea. Cal interprets the calling involving Georgia and Bethany has a calling while still heavily sedated. Saanvi is told by Director Zimmer to notify her when Bethany wakes up. After visiting Cal and Olive, Michaela and Ben visit Priscilla and persuade her to let them borrow her car. She does and gives them money to forward to Cal and Olive. Upon meeting up with Georgia, they head to a barn to look for Anson. Ben and Georgia are then attacked by their old enemy Billy. Michaela helps subdue him and leaves him taped to his car where he is later found by Jared, Drea, and Officer Wicks. Georgia is advised to get to the 828 safe house. While walking down the road, Michaela has another vision of Zeke. Upon surrendering, Ben whispers to Vance about the hole that he found in the ground. While in solitary confinement, he finds that Michaela also surrendered as they both have to “keep the lifeboat afloat”. Saanvi is told by Director Zimmer that they are “controlling the situation” when asked about doing field supervision on the 828 passengers. Vance finds the hole in question while Director Zimmer enters the room where Captain Daly is strapped to the bed as she has him sedated.

Episodes 12

“Bug Out”

Hiding in a homeless camp in St. Louis, Missouri, Angelina befriends a kid named Nina. Zeke visits Michaela, still in solitary confinement. Right after, Michaela is called in by Zimmer and Vance to help Jared solve a Calling received by passenger Joe whose son Charlie was taken from him when detained. In a trance, Ben scratches the words “WAKE HIM UP” on the walls of the confinement yard. Once awaken, he and Saanvi discover he etched a map of the detention center and marked a location: it is where Captain Daly is kept prisoner. Saanvi revives Daly as a moving lump is seen under his skin. With help from Jared’s brother Luis, Jared and Michaela follow a clue to a jewelry store. Cal voluntarily enters Joe’s calling and finds another clue. He is taken back to the plane again by Angelina who tells Cal they’re connected. Following Cal’s clue, Jared and Michaela rescue Charlie and several children hidden behind a fake wall and arrest the jewelry store owner for child trafficking. Jared sets Charlie up with Luis whose family will foster him until Joe is released. Zeke visits Michaela again. So does Jared, bringing hugs and beer. Cal visits Daly’s plane crash site and the barn and finds an unconscious woman in a basement cellar. Zimmer visits Daly as she asks a doctor on how he was awakened. Just then, Daly immediately releases a swarm of insects from his mouth.

Episodes 13

“Ghost Plane”

Cal brings home the woman who turns out to be Fiona Clarke who is currently in a zoned out state, which the believe is a Calling. Olive visits Ben about this as he shows her the insect that infested the 828 Detention Center which she identifies as a locust. He gets a Calling causing the guards to take him away. Zimmer is told that the locusts in question are the extinct Rocky Mountain locust. Ben tells Michael and Jared about a Calling regarding Mansion Marina and a boat moored at Slip 57. This leads them to an encounter with Eagan’s father Nazir who has a strained relationship with Eagan. Cal believes he can see Fiona’s Calling by sitting in her seat on the plane, he returns to the plane and finds two olive trees in place of where Captain Daly and Fiona were sitting and he manages to bring back two olives from the trees with him. At the 828 Detention Center, Zimmer is told that some of the guards have died from the boils that appeared on Daly. When Fiona has trouble breathing, Cal taps into the Divine Conscious to speak to Saanvi who figures out that Fiona has a collapsed lung and walks Cal through a tracheotomy. Ben, Michaela, and Nazir find Eagan’s mom Farnaz who had been manipulated into staging her own break-in. With information that Ben learned from Eagan, Michaela and Jared learn that Eagan’s protégé Cheryl has been conning the relatives of those in the 828 Detention Center. They managed to set a trap for Cheryl and apprehend her. Nazir and Farnaz visit Eagan at the 828 Detention Center and their relationship improves. Familiar with the information about the two olive trees, Angelina uses the Omega Sapphire to manipulate Eden to believe Olive wants the straw removed from Fiona. This ends up killing Fiona.

Episodes 14

“Fata Morgana”

Cal and Olive find Fiona dead. The water turns to blood when Ben is washing his hands, then he sees Daly. Angelina makes her way to New York to begin her next plot. When the water in the 828 Detention Center turns to blood, an emergency lockdown is initiated. Saanvi persuades Captain Daly’s estranged son Patrick to donate some blood and bone marrow hoping to stop the plagues. Michaela helps pregnant detainee Polly deliver her baby when she goes into labor early, assisted by a friendly janitor when the doctors are unavailable. After a talk with Eden, Olive learns from Cal that Angelina is still alive. Cal projects himself to Angelina where she tries to get him to side with her to no avail. When Jared and Vance arrive, they learn what happened to Fiona as Cal gives a description on where Angelina is hiding out. Jared arrives at a highway bridge at I-80 where Angelina’s van is located. Angelina uses the illusion of Patrick to taunt Daly into breaking out of his room. Despite Ben trying to persuade them not to, the guards shoot Daly and he dies in Ben’s arms. Jared finds Angelina and arrests her for the murder of Grace and the kidnapping of Eden. He is informed on what Angelina did with the Omega Sapphire. Michaela has a final chat with Zeke who is starting to head back to 2018 as she advises him to find her. Daly’s blood drips into the drain which empties into the nearby river. Ben is among the 828 detainees that see Jared bringing Angelina in to the 828 Detention Center in handcuffs.

Episodes 15

“Throttle”

News has broken out over what has happened in the river. Those taking refuge with co-pilot Amuta are starting to doubt their survival. After ignoring Ben’s advice on Angelina, Director Zimmer cuts a deal with her to deliver the fugitive 828ers to her in exchange for a release. Steve visits Michaela at the 828 Detention Center. He slips Michaela a piece of paper from Olive for TJ. Steve collapses. In her room, Michaela gets a Calling about some woods and a stream. Ben tells her to use the Calling to get Director Zimmer to let her and Jared out of the Center to investigate. Eagan sees the janitor slip the note to TJ. Amuta turns himself in upon being fooled by Angelina’s illusion of Daly. He demands to be taken to Daly but Zimmer refuses. Ben figures out that Zimmer used Angelina to lure Amuta here. Ben tells Amuta that Daly is dead. Fearing for the other passengers, Amuta tells Ben their “chicken coop” panic word. Drea cuts out Michaela’s tracking chip so she can see her dad in the hospital. There she learns from a doctor that Steve has suffered a stroke. Ben persuades Zimmer to let him speak to the press where he includes “chicken coop” in his speech. Someone hits him with a stone causing the guards to take Ben back in. After finding that the safe house is empty, Zimmer accuses Angelina of tipping them off. While treating Ben’s injury, Zimmer brings Angelina to the medical room, sedates her, and instructs to Saanvi to cut the Omega Sapphire out of Angelina. As she starts, the Sapphire is absorbed into Angelina’s body. Michaela and Jared run away with Steve. Manipulating the janitor, Eagan and TJ sneak into the medical room as Ben forces Saanvi’s prototype cure on Angelina which causes her to scream enough to cause all 828ers to pass out and lose their Callings. Eagan grabs the janitor’s badge and sneaks Angelina out of the 828 Detention Center. As Zimmer transfers Saanvi to another department, TJ and Ben figure out that the world is ending.

Episodes 16

“Furball”

As Michaela and Jared take care of Steve at Tarik’s house, Jared is briefly visited by a neighbor named Tom Moore. While Olive and Eden visits Ben, an earthquake occurs. Eden sneaks into the Center, causing Olive to follow. As guards try to remove Daly’s body, a fissure opens up swallowing it in lava with some guards. After being contacted by her superiors, Director Zimmer initiates the Isolation Protocol to leave the 828 passengers in the Center much to the dismay of Vance who later sneaks some key cards to Ben. Vance runs into Olive before leaving the Center to meet Cal. Vance tells him Olive and Eden are with Ben, then Cal gets a calling about cards that have the numbers 6, 2, 3, and 8 in that order. Ben and TJ are reunited with Olive. They find Eden in a security room. Angelina and Eagan find the safe house for the refugees like Autumn Cox, Paul Santino, Randall Barr, Astrid Koren, and some others. Familiar with what Angelina did to Grace, they ask her to leave. But Eagan has a plan for Angelina to win them over, which she does. Consumed by the loss of his fellow guards, Quinn loads his gun and goes to shoot those who are inside but is talked down by Ben and Eden. While jogging, Michaela finds Tom faking being trapped and he starts to strangle her until Cal knocks him out. Vance and Cal discover that Tom, an Xer, is the one who was supposed to deliver freon to the 828 Detention Center, instead they find sarin gas in his van. Vance calls Emmett to handle some “trash pickup”. Ben finally gets the 828 passengers to rally to his cause. Michaela takes Cal and Vance to meet up with Jared. Having been informed of everyone losing their Callings, Cal goes into the Divine Conscious and gets overwhelmed. He tells them he is detecting everyone’s Callings.

Episodes 17

“Threshold”

8 months have passed since Director Zimmer locked down the 828 Detention Facility. On May 2, 2024, Drea covers up the purpose of a building she bought to her mother. Once inside, she changes into her construction clothes and starts to work on a hole. Inside the 828 Detention Facility, life inside is thriving except for the rations starting to go slim. After going into the Divine Conscious, Cal gets a Calling that is tied to Autumn. He and Jared trace her to Beverly’s old house where Angelina’s group is taking refuge. As Cal argues with Angelina, Jared finds a photo of Autumn and a building that had flowers on it which Autumn claims that it meant nothing to her. A tremor takes out the power at the 828 Detention Facility. As Ben and Joe investigate this, Henry informs them the life support for the ALNI patients has failed. Two of them die from the lack of power, but the rest are rescued. Olive suggests that they should make a banner for any 828 sympathizers to come to their aid. Vance and Michaela trace the building in Autumn’s photo to one owned by Drea. Arriving at the building, Jared and Cal subdue a man that was trying to rob Drea as Jared drives him off with a warning. They both find out that she is pregnant and she reveals what she is doing. Jared manages to break through the wall into the Detention Center enabling Cal to reunite with Ben. Then Drea and Jared work to provide power to the building. Steve wants to see Ben. Michaela and Vance arrive with Steve. Ben tells the 828 passengers that Cal has grown up and that they must work together as a family. Some leave, but most stay. Astrid leaves Angelina and arrives at the Drea’s building. When Cal visits Markov, Markov briefly grabs Cal’s arm and he gets a vision of a peacock which may indicate he and Angelina need to join forces.

Episodes 18

“Lift/Drag”

On May 31, 2024, Saanvi is in a facility that is run by Dr. Gupta as they analyze the growing fissures. Dr. Gupta considers this an extinction-level event. Troy comes up with a plan to block the ULF using an Electromagnetic pulse. Cal goes through different Callings and makes out each one to the different passengers. Michaela’s Calling involves the saying “Every life is worth saving” as she has a flashback involving Zeke that leads her to where she needs to go. Ben’s calling involves the numbers 1-1-2-1, a partial zip code. Vance traces it to a building that had solar panels added onto it by ConEd. Jared and Drea find Astrid had an overdose, he revives her using CPR. Eagan talks with Autumn, figures out she drove Astrid out. Due to Saanvi and Troy’s EMP, Ben, Cal, and Vance enter without setting off the security systems. Saanvi grabs some flash drives. She reunites with Ben, Cal, and Vance and escapes with them while Troy buys them time by allowing himself to be caught by the security guards. Michaela arrives at the rehab facility where Zeke worked. A worker and a security guard nearly sell her out only for Carlos to intervene and talk them out of it. In a room, he tells Michaela that he was drawn to this rehab facility, became Zeke’s intern and learned everything from him. Borrowing one of the balloons, Michaela writes a forgiveness letter to Evie, ties it to the balloon, and lets it ascend while forgiving herself. Autumn is suspicious about Eagan and talks to Angelina, unaware that Eagan has overheard them. Later during the gathering, Eagan proposes to Angelina. After tending to Astrid, Saanvi suspects she was poisoned. Unable to use a miniature EMP to wake the ALNI patients out of their trance, Saanvi makes out with Ben. Upon finding no more Callings in the Divine Consciousness, Cal informs Ben of this and is later visited by Henry who gives him a miniature wooden figurine of Shenlong. After their wedding, Eagan is with Angelina when Adrian shows up stating to Eagan that “it can’t wait any longer”. Marko and the other ALNI patients start to wake up.

Episodes 19

“Formation”

In a flashback, a younger Michaela and Ben are gathering firewood with their mother. Saanvi notices that all of the ALNI patients are awake and have no memory of what happened after the Major experimented on them. She finds footage of Markov quoting something in Bulgarian, “Kovcheg”, as he draws a coffin indicating that they are all going to die. Adrian reveals to Eagan that he has gone around apologizing for what has befallen the 828 passengers and their loved ones. After showing the peacock drawing to Olive, two sapphires coming together, Cal goes into the Divine Consciousness to try to reason with Angelina but to no avail. Cal is depressed, Michaela shows him the Gemini sketch. At the same time Olive returns the wooden Shenlong dragon figurine. These along with the peacock were three symbols that brought the death date. Ben realises “Kovcheg” also means Ark, they believe there is an alternative way to put two sapphires together without Angelina, using the sapphire that was found in the fragment of Noah’s Ark that Saanvi threw into the fissure. Michaela, Ben, Cal, Olive, Eden, T.J., Vance, Jared, and Drea head to Storm King Mountain where Saanvi had thrown the Noah’s Ark fragment into. The fissure is the same shape as Cal’s tattoo. Eagan later talks to Adrian about Saanvi mentioning about the sapphire that was found in the fragment of Noah’s Ark. Eagan declares his anullment from Angelina and leaves with Adrian. While sitting around a camp fire, they wonder why they were chosen. Michaela and Jared agree that Drea is the one for Jared. Later that night, Ben wakes up to find Cal near the fissure who claims that it’s time for him to go. Cal thanks his father for being his father as he disappears into the light. This causes a beacon that is seen by all of the 828 passengers.

Episodes 20

“Final Boarding”

In the woods, Eden finds a carving of the World card, but with a scales. The inscription below it is worn. Olive returns home with Eden, Jared and Drea, to try to solve the carving. The passengers all gather at Storm King Mountain following Cal’s beacon, Adrian and Eagan delay Angelina’s group. Olive looks for a specific photo slide that her grandmother made. Flight 828 reappears from the lava and everyone boards the plane. Angelina and her flock try to force the others to leave, but her powers fail her and Angelina falls. Following a clue in the Al-Zuras journal, Olive realizes that, in order to survive the Death Date, Ben needs to lighten his heart by forgiving Angelina for Grace’s murder. After Angelina expresses remorse for killing Grace, Ben saves her life and Flight 828 takes off as an apocalyptic volcanic eruption begins. The passengers undergo judgement with Angelina, Autumn, Paul, Randall and some unnamed passengers turning to ash for their evil deeds. Eagan’s selfless attempt to save Adrian allows them both to survive while Saanvi narrowly escapes burning up because her saving Cal’s life balanced her killing the Major. The shadowy figure judges the good deeds of the passengers to be enough to tip the scales and stops the eruption. Meanwhile, Drea gives birth to a baby girl. Flying into the glow, Flight 828 is sent back in time to April 7, 2013, the day the plane disappeared, giving the passengers a second chance. The passengers reunite with their loved ones, overjoyed to return to the lives and families they left behind, including Ben and Grace and Saanvi and Alex. All of the passengers lost along the way are resurrected, including Cal, who is restored to his childhood with no memory of the past five and a half years so he can have a normal life. Although TJ is saddened realising young Olive doesn’t remember him, she still has a crush on him. He meets Violet at the baggage claim. Michaela rejects Jared’s proposal, telling him there is someone better for him and that he must “have hope” (knowing that he and Drea named their baby Hope). She then decides to pursue a new relationship with Zeke who is working as an airport taxi driver. Ben promises to introduce Grace to Saanvi, saying she is the one who can cure Cal’s leukemia. Jared meets Drea when she arrives with Vance to investigate the disappearance of the eleven passengers much to Ben’s amusement with Kenneth Meyer inquiring Vance on Angelina’s disappearance. The series ends with Michaela and Zeke driving off and Michaela narrating how no one knew for sure what happened on the flight; people called the occurrence either impossible or a miracle, but she can say for certain that it changed everything forever.
